Party with Your Pooch - Don't Get Obsessed!

Good News! When it comes to going out, dog lovers have it easy. Here at Leashes and Lovers for instance, you can easily break the ice talking about your pet.

So here are a few party guidelines.

1. Don't refer to yourself as mommy when talking about your dog

2. Make a playdate for your pets as this could be easier way to hook up if you have in interest in one another and could lead to an easy out should there not be animal attraction.

3. Don't wear black to the party as it shows more fur - hair.

4. Start with talking about your dog, but then be sure to transition to asking them questions. This takes the pressure off of just starting with the usual, "what do you do.

5. When trying to meet someone, it's not the time to say, "Fido doesn't like men."

6. Hold back from smooching your pooch in front of a new prospect until at least the 3rd date. Well, maybe even until the 30th date.
